Cynthia Jan is a Naturopath in Nutrition and Registered Holistic Nutritional Practitioner, graduate in Natural Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and has her Level 1 Certification with Precision Nutrition. She is also a university graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations and a Certificate in Family Life Education.

Like most people in the alternative medicine world, Cynthia Jan turned to natural nutrition to help her loved ones. Cynthia Jan’s passion for nutrition had started over a decade ago when her mother was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. But everything changed after Cynthia Jan had her daughters. The youngest had gastrointestinal issues, anxiety and severe eczema. After two decades on the work force, Cynthia Jan left the corporate HR world to follow her true passion and work on helping her daughter get through the issues. For close to a year, Cynthia Jan implemented dietary changes focusing on gut health as well as stress-management techniques with her daughter to help resolve the issues. The hard work paid off and the importance of healthy, clean and natural nutrition remains an everyday staple in her home.

Cynthia Jan is passionate about healthy living, and looks forward to sharing nutrition and lifestyle tips with you! Healthy eating, a positive lifestyle and a peaceful mind are truly key to preventing disease and enjoying what life has to offer! Cynthia Jan offers one-on-one sessions and customized health plans, meeting with clients online and in-person. As a nutrition educator, she speaks publicly and offers health and lifestyle workshops.

Holistic Nutrition involves body, mind and spirit! To achieve optimal health, one must be wiling to take responsibility for their well-being, be self-aware and be curious in learning new ways! Holistic Nutrition is a natural approach to health that uses evidence-based techniques for diet, lifestyle and detoxification.

We focus on a person’s individuality, and do not take a one size fits all method. I work the connection between body, mind and spirit, which means healthy eating, well-being and stress management. It is scientifically demonstrated that our state of mind and spiritual well-being affect our physical health.

Holistic Nutrition evaluates the person’s complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle and nutritional habits to determine the root cause of his or her health issues. As a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant, one of my principal functions is to educate individuals and/or groups about the benefits and positive health impact of optimal nutrition and lifestyle.
