Ok so it’s the middle of the afternoon and you’re having a craving for something sweet, something salty and something simply delicious! Drop the box of processed whatever and make this dessert! It’ll take you no more than 5 minutes, you decide how much of each ingredient you want and it’ll satisfy that sweet tooth for sure! Bonus, it is also a GAPS friendly dessert and your kids will love it!
1 medium sized apple, roughly cut up
3-5 pitted dates, roughly cut up
1/4 cup nuts of choice, featured here are pecans & pine nuts
1 tablespoon of seeds of choice, pumpkin seeds here
2-3 tablespoons of avocado oil, it has a very mild taste
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
dash of pink Himalayan salt
Toss all ingredients together, combine well and enjoy! That’s it, it’s that simple!
