What has society become? What have we done to ourselves where we actually choose to deliberately poison ourselves?
You know when you want to make smart lifestyle and nutrition choices and you’re on the right path, eating the right things, doing the exercise, the affirmations, etc. and you then go over to someone’s place for a get together and they offer you the poison. And you’re like, no thanks, I’ll have herbal tea. And they’re like what? Why don’t you want coffee? Why don’t you want wine? Have some Doritos! Come on, one cup won’t hurt you, one glass of wine won’t kill you! And you’re like no thanks, I will not sabotage my hard work and all my efforts in achieving my healthiest life. But many of us will fail and conform because we don’t want to stand out and be different, and some of us will succeed and follow our own path.
Why do we as adults have to condition ourselves to mediocracy if we’re trying to evolve, trying to grow and feel better. Trying to be at our best, live our best life!
What about Halloween every year, we deliberately choose to feed our kids the poison; high fructose corn syrup (#1 cause of non-alchoholic fatty liver disease), pesticides, gmos, chemicals, food colourings, preservatives, etc. so that we could fit in with society, so that we’re not judged! Our children are the sickest they’ve ever been…ever!!! I mean, really?!?!? I say no to this poison for my kids, and for myself.
So at the end of the day, I think it’s important to remind ourselves that we live every day, and in my opinion, I want to be present, I want to be awake, I want to feel good. I don’t want to be numb and sick. How do you want to live everyday? #weliveeveryday#healthylifestyle#healthymindset#cynthiajanhealth
